domiciliary...

I've done my 5 weeks of surgical and orthopaedic rotation at the wards... ---> i didn't get my cases and i don't present any cases...

I've done another 5 weeks of medicine rotation at the wards...---> i have yet to clerk 2 more cases...one of respiratory and another of neuro/endocrine...hence i haven't submitted those 2 case write ups yet...plus my logbook...i still didn't present any cases...

Now it's my GP/Clinical skills/Outpatient rotation...and i don't have to go to the wards...though i would love to be wandering at the wards at this moment! What is this rotation on? really cute stuff actually...yesterday was the suturing class..

The clinical skills workshop felt like a tailoring class to me! It really did...only that there were more gadgets to use! So what sutures did we learn? Hmm...
  1. Interrupted
  • simple
  • horizontal mattress
  • vertical mattress
  • inverted vertical mattress
2. Continuous
  • Simple
  • horizontal mattress
  • subcuticular

sooo...this is my continuous mattress/blanket...continued with simple...then continued with a wee bit of blanket again...hehe
OK OK...it looks bad? you wouldn't want me to suture you? heyyy!!! it was my first time! and I was considered advanced tau!!!

Isla being excited...both of us kept singing songs happily and making the most noise in the class 'til Dr.Khoo laughed at us. But she was OK with the annoying-ness cause we managed to be ahead of the class...and the only 2 who went to to the 'flap'...*peace*
