A Start of Something New...yet again...

So the exams are over, and so there goes another chapter of my life in med school. When I first started in 2003, it had never cross my mind on the things I'd go through taking this course. In a way I'm more than thankful to God for making the clear and smooth path for me throughout these few years.


And sooo....Obstetrics & Gynaecology is my first rotation... being all blur and didn't touch the book at all throughout the entire 1 week break, I went to class sleepy and late, driving like a mad woman not knowing what to expect at all. I couldn't even get the menstrual cycle right after all these years, plus I'm a woman so that's further disgrace! To make things better, class was postponed to 2pm (there I was sitting all confused at 10am). So we ended up at Old Town and later on at the beach, further ahead than Feringghi.




Fun? yea it was fun.

But it didn't occur to me how tired i would end up in class later on!

I really did die and tried so hard to wiggle my way in staying alive.


To my horrors, classes for O&G are absolutely T-I-G-H-T! Starts off at 8am - 1pm at the hospital or clinics. Then a one hour lunch break before classes and tutorials resume from 2pm-5pm! aaAAaaaAaAHHHHH~~

Now that's if I'm lucky to get out by 5pm! If I have on calls....it continues from 5pm-1opm...and some people even stay back 'til 1am-2am (because babies are born in odd hours!!! sheesh~!!! annoying brats even before they are born! I was born at 9.12pm! I was nice and considerate!)

oh yea...did I mention I'd be delivering babies as well? teehee~~ yuup!!! and doing pap smears...and sticking my fingers in the vagina...and poking my hands on preggie mother's bellies...and so on. I don't know if it's considered fun or not...

Delivering part = YES...FUN!
Vaginal examination = i don't see the fun in looking at vaginas every single day for the next 8 weeks. Further more...I'm straight!

So anyways, I'm gonna be dead tired throughout this rotation. Let's just wait and see how I'll survive like I always do. With a few helps of course from those who love me :)
