RENT

I'm a musical freak! I watched RENT [the movie version of the musical] and now I'm a bit hooked on to it!

Rmbr the opera I went to last week? La Boheme. RENT the musical is based on that opera! So basically its the same story...only that they changed it a bit here and there! Basically abt a bunch of bohemians struggling to live and pay their rent in the gritty part of NY. It shows obstacles of poverty, drugs, homosexuals and the AIDS epidemic.

I prefer the musical anytimeee!!!

*Light My Candle* - this part has d cutest lyrics! I found this scene at the opera as super lame. But this one is awesome!


*La Vie Boheme* - the song is so cute!U have to wait til d everyone starts to sing thou...d slow intro is quite long...
