2nd week of O&G kinda ended pretty quick...a lot of things happened but I never got the time to update my blog...ugh...

sooo...a short weekly update!

Monday 31st March

Still in SJH...felt lethargic, malaise and literally dying in the clinic. Had interesting cases though...Dr.Ranjit was cool! He couldn't care less that I was just sitting instead of standing like how we're supposed to...and the nurse thought I was hypoglycaemic so I got a free sweet~~

Tuesday 1st April

April Fool...
I think I'm too old for April Fool...it doesn't appeal as much as it did 10 years ago. Anyways, for some weird reason we woke up late, went to McD's drive thru for breakfast. Got stuck in the jam...but miraculously reached SJH at 8am and made it on time for OT.


Dr. Bala was cool too...ended up looking at them taking out a dermoid cyst (man...the hair!!! the hair in the cyst looked like those that clogged up your toilet!!!) and endometriotic cyst laparoscopically!!! the contents of the cyst really reminded me of McD's chocolate sundae

seriously...cleaning ladies...

Went out with Nisa to Jemput Tree for dinner and then jalan2 around penang before ending up in Midlands for...obviously DVDs!

Wednesday 2nd April

No SJH today~~ coz I have to go for the infertility clinic at Penang Maternity Hospital! Yay~ sooooo happy to get the extra hour of sleep! Anyways...I never knew that so many men were subfertile!!! All the while we've been blaming the women!

YOU GUYS DON'T EVEN HAVE ENOUGH SPERM!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHA...go go smoke summore...

but anyways...guys could get their sperm count up again...damn...

ON CALL DAY WITH DR.NICK!!! I LOVE DR.NICK!!! hahaaaa...the guy with more mood swings than a girl...but MAN HIS ASS IS HAWT!!! ummmmmmyeeeaaaa~~~ he was repairing an episiotomy...i wasn't looking at his suturing...hahaha~~

oh yeaaa...date of history here...

I DELIVERED A BABY BOY ON THIS NIGHT!!!
I DELIVEREEEEDDDD~!!!!! and i cut the cord and I massaged the uterus and got the placenta out~~ inspected it and was increadibly happy with the entire world! best part was...my name was written in the files and book~~

Thursday 3rd April

I don't really remember anything interesting happening today. Eugene was sick, so I drove the whole lot to SJH. Hmm...was happy to get Dr.Ridzuan again because we were expecting Dr.Shamini to take us...

Friday 4th April

Nothing interesting honestly... except for me skipping lectures in the evening and then went to SJH again for our on call over there.
Was ok laa...got traumatised with a C-section...
It was quite a funny night actually...Terry went missing for more than an hour and we couldn't contact him and later found out he got pulled by Mr.Naga to help out on a surgical procedure! I thought he was kidnapped or something!

Oh yea...new management at the SJH cafeteria so it was the opening day for them...for some weird reason...we ended up eating there for breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper! all in a day!
