excess baggage

the best way to spend my last few months in dublin, was to randomly buy the cheapest ticket to 'something' shown at Gaeity Theatre. We ended up buying an opera show - La Boheme. (Sounds like the bakery in Jaya Jusco). I pass Gaeity every single week...it's right in front of the library! But I never thought of going to watch anything there, with the exception of Riverdance, which i never got the chance coz its alwiz during summer!!!

I never knew Gaeity was this huge inside! the seats were still empty then coz we were pretty early to arrive...

Back to the opera bit...it was OK. Not the best I've been to...but better than the La Traviata I watched in Rome. Come to think of it, operas are not my cup of tea. I prefer musicals [top of the list would definitely be Phantom of the Opera and I'm seriously proud of our own Puteri Gunung Ledang]. Well...at least I made it into Gaeity! Mission accomplished!

on the way to hospital today, Aaron asked me why I always carry around such a large bag to class, which is relatively a good question, since I don't really know myself. So i took the liberty of emptying out my (favourite stripey lime green, orange Guess) bag and found the following :

1. yellow file with tons of new & old lecture notes [untouched!]
2. red notebook [to scribble things]
3. grey small notebook for wards
4. stripey gloves
5. a big pencilcase with multiple highlighters, pens etc...even a mini blade & hairclips
6. my dior purse
7. my card holder with packs of buscards
8. 2 ball pens lying around [1 was dry]
9. bars of nutrigrain
10. atm receipts
11. umbrella
12. panadol
13. panadol menstrual
14. clarityn [antihistamines]
15. sandomigran [migraine pills]
16. vicks vaporub

18. purple butterflies organizer
19. orange muffler
20. electricity bill

now that i've listen all the items down, I'm amazed they all fit in there!
