My trop med week is ending...and i've seen the most disgusting, sickening pictures in my entire life!!! I'm pretty much worried about getting back to Msia (MENGADA!!!) den nanti kena gigit nyamuk Anopheles spp. then end up with elephantiatis!!! Here are some pix of tropical diseases you can get in Msia... Don't see it if you can't take it!<----- Visceral Leishmaniasis. Ok this is a severe form!!!
<------ Cutaneous Leishmaniasis...can you believe this is painless?!? It started from a bite from sandflies! then you'll get an ulcer...etc...
<---- Ascaris Lumbricoides (causing ascariasis) after treatment coming out from the anus...and seriously...the lecturer told us that this picture was taken in a hospital in Gombak!!!...i don't think i'll be eating spaghettis for a while...
In the bottle is the real thing we saw in d lab...took d pix wif my phone senyap2...
so...this is like just 3 different types of stuff you can get in my beautiful country malaysia! i wouldn't even mention the rest...interesting week ain't it?!? hehe
