finding peace

hmm...well those who's been around me would have known about my big search to find a meditation centre over here. Been searching high and low but yesterday was one heck of an experience. For once I dragged Eugene to show me where to go...and okaaay..

so let's talk about this Bodhi Heart Sanctuary (http://www.bodhihearts.net/index.asp)

First of all, let me tell you that the trip to the place was damn scary!!! If you were in a taxi, alone..you'd be peeing in your pants because you'd be scared of either being raped or killed and no one is going to find your body until you rot and be decomposed into some fertilizer...

anyways, it was a Thursday evening around...7pm...and to get to Bodhi Heart Sanctuary, you have to drive to Mount Erskine, and enter this old huge chinese cemetery, on a one-street-two-way winding road met with half completed infrastructure projects and squatters. We drove on for a bit, and would randomly see...chickens...cows...stray dogs...and...goats. (now you must be wondering WHERE THE HECK AM I?!?) may I remind you that you're still in the cemetery compound and old tombstones were surrounding every part of your view.

It was a plus to later find out that the place has quite a number of drug addicts.

But the place was nice!!! I mean...cover your eyes and pretend to not notice the scary surrounding! And I had a pretty good talk about meditation by the manager there...unprepared!!!

So what's the conclusion of the whole thing...ummm ummm...I haven't meditated ...YET!!! haha...was busy at Noodle Station and then bugging Krish's place etc etc...oh well..maybe the weekend....

about going to the place again?...not without a company for sure!
